TROUBLESHOOTING
No power
A fuse may be blown or the circuit breaker
tripped
Plug not fully inserted into the wall outlet
Full bucket indicator is illuminated
The ice bucket may be full
The ambient temperature may be lower than
5°C (41°F)
Low water indicator is illuminated
The water reservoir may be empty
Full bucket indicator and low water
indicator are both illuminated
The ice box may be in an incorrect position,
check that it is level
Check whether any foreign objects are stuck in
the ice making compartment
Not making ice or not performing well
The air outlet may be blocked
The water temperature may be too high; do not
use warm or hot water in the ice maker as this
can deform internal plastic parts
The ambient temperature may be too high
The refrigerant system may be damaged
Noises
Gurgling noises or sounds of rushing water are
normal
Grinding noises are not normal, this can
indicate that the fan or pump is obstructed
CLEANING
Ensure the ice maker is unplugged before cleaning.
Do not use boiling water to clean the ice maker
as this can deform internal parts.
Do not use solvents, strong acids, strong alkali
substances or other harsh cleaning agents.
Do not use cleaning sprays, abrasive cleaners or
sharp objects.
Some paper towels can scratch the glass or the
surface of the control panel.
Clean the outside of the ice maker with a soft
cloth and mild soap. Rinse and then dry before
using.
Wipe the window and the control panel with a
damp, clean cloth.
Keep the area clean where the lid closes against
the cabinet.
DRAIN
Remove the rubber plug from the water outlet to
drain any excess water from the ice maker.
The ice maker should be drained every time you are
nished making ice as well ahen you are nished
using the ice maker for the season and it will be
stored for a long period of time. Always ensure that
no water is left inside the appliance for more than
12 hours so it does not become stagnant.
