WiththeRefrigeratoroperatingandthe Ihennostat
adjustedto thecoldestsetting,the pressureshouldbe Ihe
sameasthe supplypressure,or 11inches(280ram)
watercolumn.

6.8 The flue tube (Fig. I)
The burnerisIocaledbeneaththe fluetube(14).
Themis a baffle(15)in Ihetubetoimproveheattransfer
ofthe combustiongases,and also a chock(13)to limit
lheexcessairpassingboughlheflue tube.
Theassembly(t2) issupportedat the upperedge of the
flue lube.Fitting overi! is Ihe ffueextension(11),
fastenedto the coolingunit.
7. Periodic maintenance and
trouble-shooting
To maintainyourRefrigeratorsafeandefficient we
recommendyouto carryout a simpleprogram of
preventivemaintenance.Thisroutineshouldbe
appliedat leasttwice a year,preferablybefore a
seasonofcontinued use and'speciallyifthe
Refrigeratorhasbeen closeddown forsome time.
Dudngandafter the maintenance service keep
appliancearea clearandfree from combustible
materials, gasolineandother flammablevaporsand
liquids,Also keepthe flow of combustionand
ventilationair unobstructed.

NOTE:Thelow framenormallyhas a yellowcore.

6.7 The igniter
Theigniter(05) isIhepiezoelectrictype,whichcausesa
high-voltagespark Iojumpbetweentheelectrode(H3)
and theburner(H2). If itfails to operate,the taull may
laywilhin_e gamutel wel[knownaui:omo_[vesparkplug
problems,[.o. fromtoo greata distancebetween
electrodeandburner,to creepageor pooreleckic
contact.If suchp_oblemscanbe ruledout,theigniter
shouldbe exchanged.
Do notput the igniterfn place(C5) before
checking for the existenceof leakage.

7.1 Checking the doors
Firstcheckthe doorsfor unabstrucledopeningand
closing,thencheckthe magneticseals.Theseshouldbe
clean, freelrofn cracksor dlslortion,andsealingall the
way round_eir contour.Otherwise,letyour dealer
replacethe,'nor adjustthe door hinges.
7,2 Cleaning the parts at the rear of the
Refrigerator
MovetheRefrigeratorawayfrom itspermanentpositron,
makingsurethe llexible coanecto_doesnot kink.
Dust that galhers beh[rtd the Refdgeralor may clog the
burner, Dust building up onthe absorber_
(D11)andcondenser(D1) ofthe coolingunit canlessen
the heattransferoftheseparts,impairingperformance.
Therefore,as a first step, removeIhe dustfromthe
RefrigeralorandIhe enclosure.Usea paintbrushto
cleanthe condenser.
Checkthetube (D12)lor wetnessandtot rust.
