MagnaLatch provides vertical & horizontal adjustment for correct alignment. It is the installer’s/owner’s responsibility to ensure the gate properly latches at all times. See Steps 5 & 9.

POWERING UP ENCENDIDO/ACTIVACIÓN
Remove screw and front cover by
using a #1 Phillips-head screwdriver.
Extra screw included if lost.
Retirar el tornillo y cubierta frontal
usando un destornillador Phillips #1.
En caso de pérdida hay un tornillo
adicional.
Insert battery as indicated into the
battery compartment with the (+) symbol
on top and the (-) on the bottom.
Insertar la batería (pila) como se indica
en el compartimento de la batería con el
símbolo (+) en la parte superior y el (-)
en la base.
Open & close the gate a minimum of
5 times. This will calibrate the system
& battery so they operate properly.
Repeat if low battery (ramp-down) sound
occurs.If low battery sound continues,
contact D&D Technologies.*

Powering Up the Latch

Accessing the Battery Compartment

Remove front cover and screw to access the battery compartment for initial setup.

Battery Installation

Insert battery into the compartment with correct polarity (+ on top, - on bottom).

System Calibration

Calibrate system by opening/closing gate to ensure proper battery operation.

Activating the Disarm Feature

Accessing the Disarm Feature Hole

Remove front cover and screw to access the hole for activating the disarm feature.

Prepare Gate for Activation

Ensure the gate is open to allow activation of the Disarm feature.

Activate Disarm Feature

Insert paper clip to activate the Disarm feature, indicated by a sound.

Finalize Disarm Activation

Close gate and re-attach cover and screw after activating the Disarm feature.

Temporarily Disarming the Alarm

Initiate Temporary Disarm

Open and hold the gate to initiate temporary alarm disarm.

Engage Disarm Sensor

Place finger on the disarm sensor for 5 seconds to engage.

Maintenance and Safety

Key Tag Reminder

Key tag supplied as a reminder to maintain proper alignment.

Pool Gate Safety

Pool gates and latches do not substitute for adult supervision.

General Maintenance

Remove key after use, use graphite lubricant, ensure screws are tight.
