Usage Features:
- Unpacking: Upon receipt, carefully unpack and inspect the contents for any damage. Retain all packing materials in case the fixture needs to be returned.
- Safety Precautions:
- Always read the user manual carefully for your own safety.
- Be cautious of dangerous voltage when touching wires.
- Keep the manual for future reference.
- Clean the speaker only with a dry cloth.
- Ensure sufficient clearance behind the mounting surface (e.g., ceiling) for installation, avoiding obstructions like A/C channels or power lines.
- Protect speaker wires from damage, as damaged wires can lead to poor sound quality and amplifier damage.
- Verify that the mounting surface can support the speaker's weight.
- Never connect main power to the loudspeakers, as this will damage them.
- Use cables of the correct gauge, especially for long runs.
- Maintain clear color indication and polarity throughout the entire system when using cables.
- Avoid loud microphone feedback, which can damage the speaker.
- The speaker is intended for indoor use only; do not expose it to rain or moisture.
- Troubleshooting:
- No Sound: Check all cable connections. If the issue persists, review installation instructions or consult a professional.
- Low and Poor Sound: Ensure speakers are well-insulated. Adding insulation can buffer sound, prevent it from going into the attic, and secure speakers to prevent vibrations.
- Uneven Sound: Ensure insulation is applied evenly around each speaker to maintain consistent sound absorption levels.
- Sound Warping/Distortion: Adjust treble and bass levels. In rooms with few furnishings or without carpet/rugs, you may need to decrease treble to prevent tinny sound. If speakers are too close to walls or not aimed properly, decrease bass to prevent low tones from bouncing.
