    6. Caution: The Body of the appliance is NOT dishwasher safe and should not be submerged in water or other liquids. The heating plate will be hot during and after use.
  • Cleaning the Heating Plate:

    • Over time, mineral deposits from water may accumulate on the Heating Plate, which can resemble rust.
    • Homemade Cleaning Solution: A solution of 10 parts water to 1 part vinegar can be used. Pour this solution onto the Heating Plate and let it sit for a period.
    • Scrubbing: Alternatively, the Heating Plate can be gently scrubbed in a circular motion with a "magic eraser"-type sponge and a little warm water.
  • Troubleshooting:

    • Indicator Light not turning on: Ensure the power cord is plugged in, check if the power outlet is operating correctly, press the Power Lever, and confirm there hasn't been a power failure.
    • Eggs are overcooked or undercooked: Use the Measuring Cup to determine the appropriate amount of water. Observe the recommended cooking times. If eggs are overcooked, remove them immediately after the buzzer sounds. Ensure the Heating Plate, Lid, and Accessories are completely dry before adding water for cooking.
