INTRODUCTION
1500 vs. 1520 vs. 1572
The Dawn 1520 coulter arm attachment is a stand alone
unit. It is NOT COMPATIBLE with existing Dawn Trashwheel
setups. The Dawn 1520 is compatable with both John
Deere heavy-duty scrapers and long parallel links. If your
planter already has Dawn standard Trashwheels as well
as adequate clearance, the Dawn 1500 add-on coulter at-
tachment will add a coulter to your existing Dawn Trashwheel
setup. The Dawn 1572 is a stand-alone coulter and Trashwheel
combination perfect for most no-till applications.

COULTER BLADE ASSEMBLY
NOTE For some shipments, coulter and hub assembly is taken
care of in house by Dawn.
Assemble coulters according to diagram. Lightly grease
O-ring and place into groove on the underside of the alumi-

coulter is assembled, you can fill with grease and insert
pipe plug.
