With the worm engaged, the
index head spindle can be
rotated by means of the
crank; with the worm dis-
engaged, the spindle top
can be rotated by hand.

Move worm shaft slightly
back and forth by means of
crank to facilitate en-
gagement.

Knebel 1 lösen und Knebel 2 Zum Einschwenken Tei1-Ein-
ri chtung nach rechts bi s zum
Anschlag drehen.
To engage worm, move in-
dexing unit to the right
up to stop.
klemmen.
Release clamp 1 and apply
clamp 2.
Knebel 1 klemmen.
Retighten clamp 1.
Zum AusschwenkenLochschei -
be und Kurbel-Gríff nach
links bis zum Anschlag dre-
hen.
To disengage worm, turn
index plate and crank to
the left up to stop.
