Operating principles
The remote control provides a radio link with your hob over a distance of approximately 5 m (maximum).
To maintain this communication link, it is important to ensure that the batteries inserted in your remote
control are in good condition. A low battery level is shown by a display on the remote control:
.
If the battery level is too low or the battery is not working, your hob will not function.
A poor radio link is indicated by the symbol and three audible beeps: you should move closer to
the hob to enable it to receive once again. Otherwise, the hob will turn off after a few minutes.
Setting up your remote control
When setting up the remote control for the first time, after having plugged in your hob you should insert
the batteries supplied into their housing as shown and then close the housing with the cover included.
Ensure that the cover is properly closed and set the time.
Guarantee
Any work carried out on your control unit (dismantling of the electronic parts) leads to the guarantee
becoming void.
To change the batteries:
- Remove the old batteries and take them to a waste collection
and recycling centre or another battery collection point.
- Insert the new batteries (LR6 type AA, 1.5 V), taking care to
insert them the right way round (alkaline batteries should
preferably be used).
- Fasten the cover back down carefully and set the clock.
If liquid is observed leaking from a battery, use gloves when
cleaning.
It swallowed, contact an emergency poisons unit immediately.
maximum
A control bracket is supplied.
This may be installed on the wall to the left or
the right behind your hob.
Setting the clock:
With the hob plugged in, the
moment that you insert (or change)
the batteries in the control, the clock
starts flashing.
Adjust the time using the + or -
buttons on the timer.
You will hear an automatic
confirmation (a double beep) if the
buttons are not pressed for 5
seconds: the clock turns off.
A short press on
displays the
time once again a few seconds later.
Resetting the time:
A long press on l starts the time
flashing. You can then adjust the time with
the aid of the + or - buttons on the timer.
