Automatic functions
Rearming function: If you switch the Alarm Module to OFF, but do not open neither the doors, nor the
hood or trunk, the Alarm Module switches automatically back to ON after 60 seconds.
Display for open doors: If the doors, hood or trunk lid are opened while the ignition is switched to ON,
the LED flashes rapidly for 10 seconds as a warning. If this happens during driving, this indicates that a
a doors, hood or trunk is open or switches are defective or incorrectly adjusted.
Passive arming: The Alarm Module can be programmed for automatic activation, 12 seconds after the
last door is closed.. This function is not programmed as a standard feature. If you would like to have this
function programmed, please consult an authorised workshop.
Automatic activation of Immobilizer: If the Alarm Module has an DEFA AutoSecurity Immobilizer con-
nected, it is activated 50 seconds after the ignition is switched to OFF and a door has been opened. If no
opening of doors occur, the Immobilizer will not activate. The Immobilizer is deactivated when the Alarm
