Automatic functions
Rearming: If you turn the alarm off, but do not open doors, hood/bonnet or luggage compartment, the
alarm turns itself ON automatically after 60 seconds. In the case of cars with central locking, the doors
are also locked.
Open door indicator: If doors, hood/bonnet or luggage compartment are opened while the ignition is
turned on, the LED flashes rapidly for 10 seconds to warn you. If this happens while you are driving, it
may indicate a faulty or incorrectly adjusted door, hood or luggage compartment switch.
Passive arming: The alarm may be programmed to turn itself on automatically 12 seconds after the
last door has been closed when you have parked. This function is not activated as a default setting. If
you wish this function to be reprogrammed, you must contact an authorised installer.
Automatic interior lights: When dearmed, the alarm will light the interior lights for 30 seconds, or until
the ignition is turned ON. This function is not available for some car models.
Automatic activation of the immobilizer: For alarm models in which it is fitted, the immobilizer turns
itself on 50 seconds after the ignition has been turned off and a door has been opened. If a door has
not been opened, the immobilizer is not activated. The immobilizer is disconnected when you turn the
alarm OFF. If you do not start the car within 50 seconds of the doors being opened, the immobilizer is
reactivated. When the immobilizer is activated the LED flashes at double rate.
