Programming Options
Programming options control what your system does during normal
operation, and require few or no additional parts. However, some
programming options may require additional installation labor.
The way your system behaves during everyday use is programma-
ble. The following is a list of the program settings, with the facto-
ry settings in Bold:
■ Passive mode or active mode. In passive mode the optional
Failsafe Starter Kill relay will be automatically activated 30
seconds after the ignition key is turned off.
■ Both the ignition switch-controlled door lock and unlock fea-
tures can be turned on or off. If ignition door lock is on, the
vehicle's doors will lock three seconds after the key is turned
on. If ignition door unlock is on, the vehicle's doors will
unlock when the key is turned off.
■ Passive door locking (with passive arming) or active door
locking (only when arming with the transmitter). This feature
only works if passive arming has been turned on.
■ The horn honk confirmations of lock and unlock can be pro-
grammed on or off. The vehicle’s horn must be connected.
■ Domelight supervision active when the key is turned off can
be programmed on or off. If programmed on, the domelight
will turn on for 30 seconds each time the ignition is turned
off.
