Function
To set the scaling for correct encoder counting. Number of count pulses (of the encoder) per
mm.
Description
This parameter defines the relation between the count pulses and the values programmed and
displayed on the control.
Example
Axis with spindle with pitch of = 5.0 mm and 50 encoder pulses per rotation. This means 50
pulses/5.0 mm displacement.
50 pulses/5.0 mm = 10 pulse/mm
The encoder pulses should be multiplied by 4 because, all four states of one period are counted
by the control.
Pre scaling = 10 * 4 = 40
