Function
To program a safety zone for the backgauge, where the backgauge will move with low speed.
Description
Sometimes it is required that the backgauge moves with low speed when it is within a small
distance from the die. This depends on local regulations. With this parameter, a safety distance is
programmed. When the backgauge moves within this distance from the die, the backgauge will
move with a low speed. This safety distance is related to the limit of the safety zone of the die (it
is not an X-position!).

The maximum allowed speed within this area can be programmed at parameter 131, Safety
speed.
For an X2 axis this parameter is not available: the safety distance programmed at the X/X1 axis
is also valid for the X2 axis.
