5.3 Parameters for Servo axes
On the following pages the servo axis parameters are explained. These parameters will occur at
all servo axes, unless otherwise indicated.
The first few parameters are specific servo gain parameters to optimise servo axis positioning.
The following servo parameters are valid:
2 Gain
3 Switch
4 Ramp
Inside the switch zone the Gain is active and outside the switch zone the Ramp is active. See the
Axis parameters ‘Gain’, ‘Switch’ and ‘Ramp’.

These parameters must be programmed as follows:
• Increase gain until servo motor starts to oscillate.
• Decrease the value until the oscillation disappears and program this value for the gain.
