System overview
The Dell EMC PowerEdge T440 tower server delivers powerful 2-socket performance, expandability and quiet operations to your
small-to mid-sized business (SMB) and remote oce/branch oce (ROBO) sites. The T440 brings you exibility with a rackable
tower form factor, short 22-inch depth and quiet acoustics that are right for your oce or data center.
The PowerEdge T440 is an excellent t for a wide range of oce workloads, including work group collaboration and productivity
applications, mail and messaging, le and print serving, and web serving.
A versatile workhorse
Featuring the powerful performance of the Intel

processor Scalable family, and complemented by substantial memory
capacity and broad I/O bandwidth, the T440 provides high, balanced performance and built-in room for growth. Its 16 DIMM slots
and ve PCI Express
® (PCIe) 3.0 slots provide memory density and wide I/O bandwidth to support both memory and data-intensive
applications and databases.
Built-in capacity for up to 4 or 8x3.5 inch or 16x2.5 inch hard drives accommodate data storage as your business or organization
grows. These combined technology features are highly benecial when implementing consolidated and virtualized environments.
To protect your virtualized workloads, the PowerEdge T440 oers dual SD media making your hypervisors redundant and failsafe.
Other reliability and availability features include hot-plug hard drives, both hardware and software RAID options, redundant fans and
hot-plug power supplies.
