Task 5: Install an I/O module
The storage processor in your upgrade kit does not include an I/O module. If the SP A
includes an optional I/O module, install a matching I/O module in the SP B assembly now.
If SP A does
not
include an I/O module, skip this task and continue with
Task 6: Exchange
the memory modules
on page 8
.
1. Lift the blue latch carefully until it ejects the I/O filler module from the connector.
2. Remove the filler module.
3. Unpack the I/O module and place it on a clean, flat, static free work area.
