Replacing the Optical-Drive Assembly

Procedure
1 Align the tabs on the optical-drive bezel with the slots on the optical drive and snap
it into place.
2 Align the screw holes on the optical-drive bracket with the screw holes on
the optical drive.
3 Replace the screws that secure the optical-drive bracket to the optical drive.
4 Slide the optical-drive assembly into position and ensure that the screw hole on the
optical-drive bracket aligns with the screw hole on computer base.
Postrequisites
1 Follow the instructions from step 3 to step 4 in "Replacing the Memory Module(s)"
on page 13.
2 Follow the instructions in "After Working Inside Your Computer" on page 9.
