Removing the display
assembly

Prerequisites
1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the battery.
Procedure
1 Disconnect the antenna cables from the wireless card.
2 Peel off the tape that secures the antenna cables to the display hinge.
3 Remove the antenna cables from the routing guides on the computer
base.
4 Remove the screws that secure the display-cable bracket to the system
board.
5 Lift the display-cable bracket off the system board.
6 Using the pull tab, disconnect the display cable from the system board.
7 Peel off the tape that secures the Windows-button board cable to the
system board.
8 Lift the latch and disconnect the Windows-button board cable from the
system board.
