Removing the Hinge Cover

1. Follow the instructions in "Preparing to Work Inside the Computer."

2. Open the display all the way (180 degrees) so that it lies flat against your work surface.

3. Insert a plastic scribe into the indent to lift the hinge cover on the right side.

4. Ease the hinge cover up, moving from right to left, and remove it from the computer.
Replacing the Hinge Cover

1. Insert the left edge of the cover into place.

2. Press from left to right until the cover snaps into place.
