Display Assembly



1. Follow the instructions in "Preparing to Work Inside the Computer."
2. Turn the computer over and remove the two M2.5 x 12-mm screws labeled "D" on the bottom of the computer.

3. Turn over the computer and open the display.
4. Remove the central control cover.
5. Disconnect the display cable using the pull-tab, and release the cable from the four cable-routing clips.

6. Lift the display out of the computer.

CAUTION: Before performing the following procedures, read the safety instructions in your Owner's Manual.
NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such
as the back panel) on the computer.
NOTICE: You must remove the display assembly before you remove the palm rest.
NOTE: When you replace the display assembly, ensure that you route the display cable under the EMI clip and cable-routing clips.
