Replacing the Infrared Card


Removing the Infrared Card

1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin.

2. Remove the system board (see Removing the System Board).

3. Follow the instructions from step 5 to step 11 in Removing the Display Bezel.

4. Turn the display bezel over.

5. Remove the screw that secures the infrared card to the display bezel.

6. Disconnect the infrared-card cable from the connector on the infrared card.

7. Lift the infrared card away from the display bezel.
Replacing the Infrared Card

1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin.

2. Connect the infrared-card cable to the connector on the infrared card.

3. Align the screw holes on the infrared card with the screw holes on the display bezel.

4. Replace the screw that secure the infrared card to the display bezel.

