If your system supports the GSO-slot bracket
, perform steps 4 and 5; otherwise,
go to step 6 for instructions on installing the PCI-slot bracket.
4. For GSO-slot brackets, locate the GSO slot on the system’s back panel (at the
upper right-hand side as viewed from the back) and remove the tab for the slot.
5. From inside the chassis, orient the SMB connector as shown in Figure 1 (for
6300 systems) or Figure 2 (for 4300 systems) and insert it into the tab opening. On
the back panel, secure the SMB connector with the screws that came in the kit.
NOTE: Be sure not to over-tighten the screws.

