6. Locate the PCI1 slot on the system’s back panel and remove the filler bracket
from the slot.
Refer to Chapter 8 of your system’s
Installation and Troubleshooting Guide
for
instructions on releasing the expansion card clip that secures the filler bracket.
7. Insert the SMB connector bracket into the PCI1 back-panel slot as shown in
Figure 3 (for PowerEdge 6300 systems) or Figure 4 (for PowerEdge 4300 sys-
tems), and latch the expansion-card clip to secure the bracket.
