Option Description
Intel SpeedStep Allows you to enable or disable the Intel SpeedStep mode of processor. This option is enabled by
default.
Virtualization This eld species whether a virtual Machine Monitor (VMM) can utilize the conditional hardware
capabilities provided by Intel Virtualization Technology. This option is enabled by default.
Integrated NIC Allows you to congure the on-board LAN controller. This option is enabled by default.
USB Emulation Allows you to congure the USB emulation. This option is enabled by default.
USB Wake Support Allows you to enable USB devices to wake the system from Standby. This option is disabled by
default.
SATA Operation Allows you to congure the operating mode of the integrated hard drive controller. AHCI is set as
default.
Adapter Warnings Allows you to enable or disable the system setup (BIOS) warning messages when you use certain
power adapters. This option is enabled by default.
Function Key Behavior Allows you to set the function key behavior. The option is set to Multimedia Key by default.
Battery Health Displays the status of the battery
Camera Allows you to enable or disable the camera. This option is enabled by default.
External USB Ports Allows you to enable or disable the USB ports. This option is enabled by default.
Microphone Allows you to enable or disable the microphone. This option is enabled by default.
Internal Bluetooth Allows you to enable or disable the bluetooth. This option is enabled by default.
Internal WLAN Allows you to enable or disable the WLAN. This option is enabled by default.
Media Card Reader Allows you to enable or disable the media card reader. This option is enabled by default.
Optical Device Allows you to enable or disable the optical device. This option is enabled by default.
Fingerprint reader Allows you to enable or disable the nger print reader. This option is enabled by default.
Boot Disable This option is disabled by default.
Maintence
• Data Wipe on next boot — This eld allows users to erase the data securely from all internal
storage devices. Option 'Wipe on Next boot' is disabled by default.
• BIOS recovery from Hard Drive — This eld allows you to recover from certain corrupted BIOS
conditions from a recover le on the user primary hard drive. This option is enabled by default.
• BIOS Auto-Recovery — This eld allows you to recover from certain corrupted BIOS conditions
from a recover le on the user primary hard drive or an external USB key. This option is disabled
by default.
Support Assist System Resolution
• Auto OS Recovery Threshold — Allows you to control the automatic boot ow for SupportAssist
System. Options are: O, 1, 2 (default), and 3.
• SupportAssist OS Recovery — Allows you to recover the SupportAssist OS Recovery. This
option is enabled by default.
Battery Charge Conguration Allows you to select the charging mode for the battery. The options are:
• Adaptive—enabled by default
• Standard—Fully charges your battery at a standard rate
