The temperature control should be turned to an intermediate position. Note that in this setting, vacuum is
supplied only to the upper mode flap and face level vent. In
this
way, refrigerated fresh air is supplied
predominantly to the door vents and face level vents, whilst de-humidified warmer air is supplied
predominantly to the footwells, with a small bleed off to the screen vent. Adjustment of the temperature
control varies the temperature accordingly. Fig. 5
The compressor and fan speed switch are energised.
