Advanced Features
Setting the Clock
1. Press the “menu” button.
2. Use the scroll wheel (or remote) to
select “Set Clock.” Press the “XM”
button to confirm.
3. You can use a 12-hour or 24-hour
(“military” time) format. Use the
scroll wheel (or remote) and “XM”
button to make your choice.
4. Use the scroll wheel (or remote) to
choose your local time zone. You
can also choose whether or not to
adjust settings for daylight-saving
time. Press the “XM” button to
confirm. XM automatically sets
the minutes.
5. Press the “menu” button to return
to the main menu and then again
to return to normal operation.
Restoring Factory Defaults
This feature erases all of your person-
al settings in the presets, TuneSelect,
memory, Stock Ticker, and Sports
Ticker, and resets all other settings to
the original factory configuration.
1. Press the “menu” button.
2. Using the scroll wheel (or remote),
select “Set Factory Defaults.”
Press the “XM” button to confirm.
3. Select “Yes” to restore the factory
default settings. Press the “XM”
button to confirm. Otherwise,
press the “menu” button to return
to the main menu and then again
to return to normal operation.
