If your Delta Plumbing Product pump turns on when grabbing to rotate it off or when working in the sink area, it may be because you are approaching the unit too slowly. Try approaching it at a faster rate. Alternatively, you can disable the hands-free feature to prevent this.

      Ashley JensenAug 9, 2025
If your Delta Plumbing Product has no activation or no light, the spout may not be securely on the base, creating a gap. Remove and replace the spout in the center position. Also, the spout may be rotated too far from the center, inadvertently turning the unit off; in this case, remove and replace the spout in the center position. If the light is still not on, remove the battery cap and reinstall it to reset the unit.
