What to do if water is leaking at the pump and the pump pulsates on my Delta DT2400CS?
    • M
      megan22Jul 30, 2025
If water is leaking at the pump and the pump pulsates on your Delta Pressure Washer, check for loose connections and tighten them. If the connections are secure, the piston packings, o-rings, pump head, or tubes may be damaged. In such cases, have the indicated parts replaced by an Authorized Warranty Service Center (AWSC). Also, ensure that the nozzle is not obstructed.

How to fix Delta DT2400CS Pressure Washer when the engine will not start?
    • T
      Thomas BradfordAug 4, 2025
If your Delta Pressure Washer's engine won't start, several factors could be at play. First, ensure there's fuel in the tank; if not, add fuel. If pressure builds up after a couple of pulls on the recoil starter or after initial use, squeeze the gun trigger to relieve the pressure. Check the choke lever position; it should be in the 'Choke' position to start a cold engine, or 'No Choke' for a hot engine. Also, make sure the spark plug wire is securely attached.

What to do if my Delta Pressure Washer has no or low pressure on initial use?
    • S
      Sarah BryantAug 8, 2025
If your Delta Pressure Washer exhibits low or no pressure upon initial use, several factors could be responsible. Ensure the wand is set to high pressure. Verify that the water supply provides at least 5 GPM at 20 PSI. Check for leaks at the high-pressure hose fitting and tighten if necessary. Inspect the nozzle for obstructions and apply sealant tape if needed. Clean the water filter screen if it's clogged. Ensure the choke lever is in the 'No Choke' position and the throttle control lever is in the 'Fast' position. Also, confirm that the high-pressure hose is under 100 feet. If air is present in the hose, turn off the engine and water source, disconnect the water source, turn it back on to remove air, then reconnect.

Why is my Delta DT2400CS Pressure Washer not drawing cleaning solution?
    • N
      Nicole MullenAug 14, 2025
If your Delta Pressure Washer isn't drawing cleaning solution, there are several potential reasons. Make sure the wand is set to low pressure. Check the filter on the chemical injector rinsing hose for clogs and clean it if necessary. Ensure the screen on the end of the chemical injector rinsing hose is fully submerged in the cleaning solution. If the cleaning solution is too thick, dilute it. Confirm all hoses are correctly connected at the valve and that the control valve is directed towards the tank being used.

      Jennifer McculloughAug 25, 2025
If you notice water leaking at the gun/wand connection of your Delta Pressure Washer, check for a worn or broken o-ring and replace it if necessary. Also, ensure the hose connection is tight; if it's loose, tighten it.

What to do if Delta Pressure Washer has no or low pressure after a period of normal use?
    • J
      Jeanette HesterSep 12, 2025
If your Delta Pressure Washer experiences low or no pressure after a period of normal use, the following issues might be the cause: worn seal or packing, worn or obstructed valves, worn unloader piston, or worn E-Z start valve. In such cases, have the indicated parts replaced by an Authorized Warranty Service Center (AWSC).
