Unknown character tone
Unknown characters are a few characters (in some languages) on barcodes that will not show in the host’s system and
cannot be sent to the host.
Use the following barcode settings to set whether the scanner sends an error tone or not when it has scanned an unknown charact
er.
If you scan “no-warning tone”, there will be no warning tone when an unknown character is scanned. If you scan “warning
tone”, there will be a warning tone when the barcode has unknown characters.
