Light sense timeout
The scanner waits for the light sense timeout to expire before activating ambient light monitoring. This can be set in 0.1s
increments from 0.1s to 25.5s. The default timeout is 0.4s. For more information, see Appendix D: Examples.

Light sensitivity

default setting is medium light sensitivity.
Light sensitivity levels range from 0 to 255. The smaller the number, the higher the light sensitivity.

Host command trigger mode
In this mode scanning is activated by host commands (i.e. set the bit0 of register 0x0002 to “1”). The scanning continues
until the barcode is scanned or the scanning timeout expires.

LED & aiming
LED
Changing LED settings can improve the light conditions during scanning. Normal (default): LED is turned on during scanning.
Always on: LED stays on when the scanner is powered on. Always off: LED stays off all the time.

Aiming
When scanning, the scanner projects an aiming beam, which makes scanning easier. Normal (default): The scanner
projects an aiming beam only during barcode scanning. Always on: The aiming beam is constantly on when the scanner is
powered on. Always off: The aiming beam is off all the time.
