The Demon Electric 6IX is an electric bicycle designed for personal transportation, offering pedal-assist functionality and a range of features for an enhanced riding experience. This manual provides essential information for assembly, operation, and basic maintenance of the 6IX e-bike.
Function Description:
The 6IX is an electric bicycle that assists the rider with a motor, making it easier to pedal and achieve higher speeds or cover longer distances with less effort. It is equipped with an LCD meter that monitors various riding parameters, including pedal assist level, speed, odometer, trip distance, riding time, and battery energy level. The bike is designed for general use, but users should be aware of local laws regarding high-speed electric bicycles on bike paths or trails.

Maintenance Features:
- Regular Charging: Recharge the battery after every use to maintain its health. For extended storage, charge fully and recharge every 2 months.
- Battery Care: Keep liquids away from the battery charger. Only use the charger supplied with the 6IX. Fully charge the battery before each use to extend its life and prevent over-discharging. Avoid placing the battery near fire or corrosive substances. Ensure the charging socket and plug are dry and tightly connected to prevent overheating and fire hazards. Charge the battery indoors with sufficient ventilation.
- Brake Check: Before every ride, check the operation of the brake inhibitor switches. The motor should lose power immediately when a brake lever is depressed.
- Component Inspection: Regularly inspect mechanical components for wear and stress fatigue. Look for cracks, scratches, fraying, or discoloration in highly stressed areas, as these indicate that the component's life has been reached and it should be replaced.
- Error Code Definition: The 850C display shows warning messages and error codes (01-25) at the bottom of the screen. The manual provides a table defining these codes and suggesting corresponding actions (e.g., check cable connection, check controller, check brake connection). For undefined errors (26-99), contact the manufacturer.
- Factory Reset: The display allows restoring all parameters to factory settings through the "Restore Factory settings" item in the menu.
- Professional Assistance: The manual emphasizes that it is not a detailed user, service, repair, or maintenance manual. Users should seek assistance from a qualified technician for service, repairs, or maintenance.
- Electrical Parts: Users are warned not to disassemble, modify, or replace electrical parts.
