Network connections
Using PC to make network settings of this unit
Before turning this unit on, make sure that no Ethernet cable is connected to this unit. If a cable is
connected, unplug this unit’s power cord, then disconnect the cable.

Press X to turn on power to the main unit.
It takes approximately 30 seconds for this unit to start.

Press NETLINK on the rear panel for 3 seconds.
This unit restarts and “Reboot in NetLink mode” appears on the display.

Connect to “Cocoon_Setup zzzzzz” in the wireless network settings on your
PC. (zzzzzz is the MAC address)
•If “Cocoon_Setup zzzzzz” is not displayed, refresh the network.
•It may take up to two minutes to establish the connection.

Launch the browser on the PC connected to this unit, and enter the address
“http://169.254.1.1”.

On the page that appears, set the information necessary for the network connection.
q Click “Profile Configuration” on the upper left part of the page.
w Select the SSID to be used.
e Click “ADVANCE SETTING”.
r Enter required items.
t When settings are completed, click “Apply”.
•“Connecting” is displayed, and the unit starts connecting to the LAN.
•When the connection is made successfully, “Connected!” appears.
•If the connection cannot be established, “Connection Failed” is displayed. If this should happen, unplug
this unit’s power cord, then plug it back in and repeat the operation from step 1 to step 5.
