Monitoring
the
Recording
A
recording
in
progress
can
be
monitored
if
a
tape
deck
with
three
individual
heads
for
recording
and
playback
is
used.
A
tape
deck
in
which
a
common
head
is
used
for
both
recording
and
playback
cannot
be
used
to
monitor
recording.
Set
the
MONITOR/
COPY
knob
to
Tape-1
or
Tape-2
to
cor-
respond
to
the
tape
deck
that
is
being
used
for
the
recording.
Use
the
TAPE
MONITOR
switch
to
switch
between
the
recording
monitor
and
the
program
source.

Using
the
Amp
with
a
Graphic
Equalizer

Remove
the
jumper
pin
from
the
PROCESSOR
LOOP.

power
switch
should
be
turned
OFF.)

Operate
the
graphic
equalizer
(which
should
be
connected
to
set
it
in
ready
state,

details,
refer
to
the
operating
manual
for
the
graphic
equalizer.)

the
graphic
equalizer

knob
(OUTPUT
LEVEL),
adjust
it
to-
gether
with
the
volume
adjustment
knob
on
the
amp
(VOLUME)
and
set
it
in
a
position
that
produces
a
suitable
volume.

Use
the
volume,
balance
and
tone
knobs
to
set
a
suitable
volume
and
adjust
the
quality
of
the
sound.
Set
to
Tape-1
when
the
tape
deck
is
connected
to
TAPE-1,
and
Tape-2
when
the
tape
deck
is
connected
to
TAPE-2.
