Usage Features
The scooter is designed for ease of use and portability.
Unfolding and Folding:
To unfold, place the scooter on its wheels, press the unlock clasp, and pull up the rod in a gentle way until it clicks audibly into place. To fold, hold the clasp and pull it outward, then press the front tube of the scooter downward until the rod clicks audibly into place. A dual action safety knob is present; ensure it is set to the "RIDING" position when riding to prevent unintended folding.
Handlebar Assembly:
The handlebar assembly involves loosening the screw on the handlebar, rotating the axle to make the handlebar meter screen face upwards, and displaying screen turn inwards in a horizontal level. Remember to tighten screws again. Ensure all components are securely installed and that the steering is correctly assembled.
Charging:
Plug the supplied adapter into the charging port located on the scooter. The charging process takes approximately 3 hours. It is crucial to use only the charger provided. Do not charge the Electric scooter in temperatures below 5°C or above 45°C. Always disconnect the charger after the Electric scooter is fully charged.
Operational Control:
The scooter features a menu screen, bell, electric brake, white reflector, throttle, mechanical brake, and back light.
- Power On/Off: Long press the power button until the display lights up. To turn off, long press the power button until the display goes out.
- Battery Display: The display shows the current remaining battery capacity.
- Gear Selection: Press the ▲ and ▼ buttons to change the gear level. Gear 3 is the fastest, Gear 2 is medium speed, and Gear 1 is slow speed.
- Speed Display: The display shows current speed, time, ODO (total mileage), and DIS (current trip distance).
- Deceleration: Gently press the deceleration dial to slow down. Deeper presses increase braking force.
- Total Mileage Reset: Press ▲ and ▼ buttons simultaneously to reset total mileage.
- Riding: To start, press the accelerator and electric brake button simultaneously. The scooter will automatically brake. To manually move, push the scooter with your foot before the accelerator handle is working.
- LED Lamps: The scooter is equipped with front and back LED lamps. In walking mode (6KM/H), the front and back light will be flashed. In 2/3 mode and when braking, front and back light will be on. Press ▲ and ▼ key to turn on/off the light.
Safety Instructions:
Before operating, read all instructions for safe assembly and operations. Always wear appropriate protective equipment like elbow, knee, and wrist protectors, and a helmet. Ensure the steering system is correctly adjusted and all connection components are firmly secured. Avoid riding in bad weather conditions, on wet or icy surfaces, or on steep slopes. Do not ride in dimly lit areas. Be aware of your surroundings and other road users. Do not carry objects that obstruct your vision. The scooter is designed for one person only. Do not ride under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
Maintenance Features
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and safe operation of the scooter.
Battery Maintenance:
- Batteries have a life cycle, and performance will decrease over time.
- Ensure the battery is charged at regular intervals, even if not in use, to prevent damage.
- Avoid draining the battery completely.
- If the battery is constantly depleted, it will damage the battery.
- If riding in cold or very hot areas, battery time can be lower than when riding in temperatures from 15-25° Celsius.
- A fully charged battery will run out of power if the scooter is not used for a period.
- Do not leave the scooter in a hot car in summer, or put battery into fire.
- Keep the Electric scooter away from open flame or other sources of heat.
- Only use original charger or an official replacement.
- Do not overcharge and discharge the battery.
- Damage caused by wrong handling is not covered by warranty.
- The battery is not designed to be disassembled.
Brakes Maintenance:
- Check the brake for wear at regular intervals.
- Adjust brakes to avoid unsafe riding.
- If the brake pad and the rear wheel become too small, it can lead to a blocked rear wheel.
- Apply too much force or stepping on the rear fender permanently may cause the fender to loosen or damage the spring holding the fender.
- If the brake pad constantly touches the wheel and the motor temperature increases due to the additional resistance, the range can also get less.
Wheels Maintenance:
- Check the wheels for wear at regular intervals.
- Electric scooters come with different wheels but can be separated into tires with inflatable inner tubes and solid wheels.
- For inflatable tires, ensure proper pressure.
- If the wheel seems wobbly even after screws are tightened, the bearings might be worn down and need replacement.
Cleaning and Storage:
- Clean the scooter with a damp cloth only. Do not use pressured water.
- For dirty areas, use a little toothpaste and clean with a damp cloth.
- Store the scooter in a dry and cool environment when not in use.
- Avoid leaving it outdoors, as it is not made for storing in wet areas.
- Do not expose to high temperatures caused by direct sun for a long time.
General Maintenance:
- Ensure the steering system is correctly adjusted and all connection components are firmly secured.
- Read operation guide and warnings of correct techniques for use and braking.
- Always wear shoes.
- Wear helmet, knee/elbow pads, and other self-locking fixings for your own protection.
- All parts and materials of electric scooter cannot be changed, modifications are not allowed.
- If you hear noises or notice bumpy operation, please check wheels, bearings, and brakes. Contact customer service for repair and maintenance if necessary.
Charging Precautions:
- Make sure the Electric scooter, charger, and DC power input of the device are always dry.
- Use only the charger supplied.
- Do not use a different charger as it may cause damage.
- There will be no light on the charger before charging, when connected to e-scooter the adapter will light red, and charging has started.
- The red indicator lights up when properly charged; if this is not the case, please check the connections.
- The charging process takes up to 3 hours. Do not charge the battery for more than 3 hours. After 3 hours, disconnect the charger from the device and the power supply. Overcharge reduces the battery service life.
- The product must not be charged over extended periods.
- Always check the eye on the device throughout the charging cycle.
- When charging at lower or higher temperatures, there is a risk that the battery performance will be reduced.
- Do not charge the device in direct sunlight or in the vicinity of open flames.
- Do not charge the device immediately after use. Allow the device to cool down for an hour before charging it.
- The device is partially charged as shipped from the factory. Keep the device partially charged until it is used.
- Allow the Electric scooter to cool down for at least 1 hour before it can be put in the package.
- Do not leave the device exposed to sunlight in a car.
- Do not remove the protective cap from the DC input.
- Remove the cap only when charging the Electric scooter.
- After charging, disconnect the DC plug and close the DC input again with the cap.
Safety Warnings:
- Never modify the product or create other potential risks.
- The charging period of the product should not exceed four hours. Stop charging after four hours.
- The product should only be charged in temperatures between 0°C and 45°C.
- If charging at lower or higher temperatures, there is a risk that the performance of the battery will be reduced and a potential risk of damage to the product and personal injury.
- The product should only be used in temperatures between -10°C and +45°C.
- If used at lower or higher temperatures, there is a risk that the performance of the battery will be reduced and a potential risk of damage to the product and personal injury.
- Store the product at temperatures between 0°C and 35°C.
- Store the product in an open, dry area and away from flammable materials.
- Do not charge in sunlight or near open fire.
- Do not charge the product immediately after use. Let the product cool down for one hour before charging.
- If the product is left with other persons for example during a holiday period, it should be partially charged (20-50% charged). Not fully charged.
- Do not remove the product from the packaging, charge it fully and then put it back into the packaging.
- When shipped from the factory, the product has often been partially charged. Keep the product in a partially charged state, until it is going to be used.
- If you open the Electric scooter casing, the warranty will become null and void.
- Always keep the protective cap plugged onto the DC connector.
- Only take off the cap when charging the Electric scooter.
- After charging, take out the DC plug and put on the protective cap onto the DC connector again.
- Make sure to wear helmet and protective clothing before using the Electric scooter.
- Make sure to read manual carefully before using the Electric scooter.
- The Electric scooter is not intended for use on public roads nor in traffic.
- The Electric scooter must only be used on dry and level ground.
