Why is the head pressure too high in my Desert Aire ExpertAire LV?

High head pressure in your Desert Aire dehumidifier can stem from several issues. It could be due to insufficient system airflow, perhaps from dirty filters or blocked ductwork. An excessive refrigerant charge or non-condensables in the system might also be the cause. Defective refrigeration valves, restrictions in the refrigeration piping, or an overloaded refrigeration system are other potential factors. For units with remote condensers, problems like a faulty contactor, fan cycling issues, a missing jumper, or an inactive pressure control could be to blame. Also, check if service valves are fully open and evaluate for excessive pressure drop in the line sets. Low water flow or general lack of airflow can also cause high head pressure.
