DANGER, WARNING AND CAUTION
The words DANGER, WARNING and CAUTION are
used to identify the levels of seriousness of certain
hazards. It is important that you understand their
meaning. You will find those words in the manual as
follows:
DANGER
Immediate hazards which WILL result in
death or serious injury.
WARNING
Hazards or unsafe practices which CAN result
in death or injury.
CAUTION
Hazards or unsafe pratices which CAN result in
personal injury, product or property damage.
1) HGRC LINE
The “HGRC” series boilers and water heaters are
natural gas or propane gas fired units and are available
with inputs ranging from 68,000 Btu/h to 340,000 Btu/h.
The model designations are as shown in Figure 1.
2) DESCRIPTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS
2.1) Heat exchanger
The heat exchanger consists of 6 finned copper tubes
mounted between 2 steel manifolds. A double pass
system is used. Standard components used in
conjunction with the exchanger include a temperature /
pressure gauge, a safety valve, a temperature limiting
device and a drain valve.
