What to do if my DeVilbiss Ex-Cell XR2750 will not draw chemicals?
    • L
      Lynn HallAug 7, 2025
If your DeVilbiss Pressure Washer isn't drawing chemicals, there are a few things to check. First, ensure the spray wand is set to low pressure. Next, inspect the chemical filter for clogs and clean it if necessary. Make sure the chemical hose is fully submerged in the cleaning solution. If the chemical is too thick, dilute it to the consistency of water. Also, avoid using an excessively long high-pressure hose; instead, lengthen the water supply hose. If chemical build-up is suspected in the chemical injector, it is recommended to have it cleaned or replaced by an Authorized Warranty Service Center.

Why does my DeVilbiss Ex-Cell XR2750 Pressure Washer have low pressure after normal use?
    • S
      Shelly CarterAug 11, 2025
If your DeVilbiss Pressure Washer has no or low pressure after a period of normal use, it could be due to several worn components. The seal, packing, valves, unloader piston, or E-Z start valve may be worn. It is recommended to have these parts replaced by an Authorized Warranty Service Center.

What causes the pump to pulsate on my DeVilbiss Ex-Cell XR2750 Pressure Washer?
    • B
      barneslauraAug 15, 2025
If the pump of your DeVilbiss Pressure Washer pulsates, it could be due to several reasons. First, verify that the pump oil level is correct. If the incorrect oil was used, drain it and refill with the correct type and amount. Also, check if the vent plug is clogged; clean it by blowing air through it to remove any blockage. Check if the nozzle is obstructed. See Nozzle Cleaning paragraph in the Maintenance section for the correct procedure.

Why is my DeVilbiss Ex-Cell XR2750 leaking water at the pump?
    • L
      Leslie NielsenAug 19, 2025
If your DeVilbiss Pressure Washer is leaking water at the pump, start by tightening any loose connections. If the leak persists, the piston packings or o-rings may be worn or broken, or the pump head or tubes may be damaged from freezing. It is recommended to have these parts replaced by an Authorized Warranty Service Center.

Why won't my DeVilbiss Ex-Cell XR2750 engine start and has low pressure?
    • D
      daniellelambNov 2, 2025
If your DeVilbiss Pressure Washer engine won't start, several factors could be at play. First, ensure there's fuel in the tank by adding fuel. Check that the choke lever is correctly positioned—move it to the "Choke" position for a cold engine or to the "No Choke" position if the engine is hot. Make sure the spark plug wire is securely attached and the engine ON/OFF switch is in the ON position. If pressure builds up after a couple of pulls, squeeze the gun trigger to release it. Also, verify the water supply is adequate (at least 5 GPM @ 20 PSI), look for leaks at the high-pressure hose fitting and repair if needed, and ensure the high-pressure hose is under 100 feet. Check for obstructions in the nozzle, clean the water filter screen, and remove air from the hose by disconnecting the wat...
