Why won't my DeVilbiss Pressure Washer engine start?

  If your DeVilbiss Pressure Washer engine won't start, several factors could be at play. First, ensure you have enough fuel. If pressure builds up after a couple of pulls on the recoil starter, squeeze the gun trigger to release it. Check that the choke lever is correctly positioned – move it to the “Choke” position for a cold engine or to the “No Choke” position for a hot engine. Also, make sure the spark plug wire is securely attached and the engine ON/OFF switch is in the ON position. Refer to the Engine Manual for more detailed engine troubleshooting.

Clear any obstructions from the nozzle using a paper clip or nozzle cleaning tool, flushing it with water. Clean the water filter screen if it's clogged. If the E-Z start valve is defective, consult an Authorized Warranty Service Center (AWSC). Also, remove air from the hose by disconnecting the water source, turning it on until a steady stream appears, then reconnecting and squeezing the trigger. Ensure the choke lever is in the “No Choke” position. Finally, use a high-pressure hose under 100 feet.
