OPERATION
Instructions for Use
WARNING: Always observe the safety instructions and
applicableregulations.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal
injury, turn tool off and disconnect tool from power
source before making any adjustments or removing/
installing attachments or accessories. Be sure the
trigger switch is in the OFF position. An accidental start-up
can causeinjury.
WARNING:
• Make sure all materials to be sanded are wellsecured.
• Apply only a gentle pressure to the workpiece.
Excessive pressure does not improve the sanding
effect, but only results in an increased load on the
machine and causes the abrasive totear.
• Avoidoverloading.
WARNING: Do not sand magnesium!
Proper Hand Position (Fig. H)
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal injury,
ALWAYS use proper hand position asshown.

injury, ALWAYS hold securely in anticipation of a
suddenreaction.
Proper hand position requires one hand positioned on the
sander as shown in FigureH.
Switching On and Off (Fig.A)
• Switching on: press the on/off switch

• Switching off: press the on/off switchagain.
Sanding (Fig.A)
• Start with the coarsest gritsize.
• As the tool produces small scratch marks in all directions, it
is not necessary to sand with thegrain.
• Check your work at shortintervals.
• Always switch off the tool when work is finished and
beforeunplugging.
Replacing the Dust Filter (Fig. E,F)
For efficient dust extraction replace the dustbag when it is
about one thirdfull.

2. Pull the dust filter cassette backward and off thetool.
3. Empty the cassette into a wastecontainer.
4. Remove the cover

from thecassette.
5. Slide the dust filter

out.
6. Fit a new dust filter following the instructions as
describedabove.

Lubrication
Your power tool requires no additionallubrication.
Cleaning
WARNING: Blow dirt and dust out of the main housing
with dry air as often as dirt is seen collecting in and around
the air vents. Wear approved eye protection and approved
dust mask when performing thisprocedure.
WARNING: Never use solvents or other harsh chemicals
for cleaning the non-metallic parts of the tool. These
chemicals may weaken the materials used in these parts.
Use a cloth dampened only with water and mild soap.
Never let any liquid get inside the tool; never immerse any
part of the tool into aliquid.
Optional Accessories
WARNING: Since accessories, other than those offered
