- Sequential Action: Ideal for intermittent nailing requiring careful and accurate placement and depth control. The user depresses the nosepiece against the workpiece (which starts the motor), then pulls the trigger to drive a nail. The trigger must be released and re-depressed for each subsequent nail.
- Bump Action: Designed for rapid nailing on flat, stationary surfaces. In this mode, the trigger can be held down, and a nail will be fired each time the contact trip is depressed against the work surface. Users are cautioned to maintain control to avoid unintentional double fires.
Contact Trip Lock-off: A safety feature that prevents accidental firing when the tool is not in immediate use. It should always be engaged when making adjustments, clearing jams, or when the tool is not in use.
Depth Adjustment Wheel: Allows users to adjust the depth at which fasteners are driven. There are twelve settings, with 1 being the shallowest and 6 being the deepest. Adjustments should always be made with the battery pack removed and the contact trip lock-off engaged.
