      Several factors can prevent your DeWalt Pressure Washer pump from reaching working pressure. These include a worn nozzle (replace it), a fouled water filter (clean it), or an insufficient water supply (fully turn on the water supply tap). Air being sucked into the system (check the tightness of hose fittings) or air trapped in the pump (switch off the appliance and repeatedly depress and release the gun trigger until the water flows steadily, then switch the appliance back on) could also be the cause. Ensure the adjustable nozzle is correctly positioned on the (+) setting. A tripped thermostatic valve (wait for the correct water temperature to be restored) or water being sucked from an open container from a height of more than 0.5 m (reduce the suction height) might also be responsible.
