OPERATIONS
Instructions for Use
WARNING: Always observe the safety instructions and
applicableregulations.
WARNING: Do not place the radio in locations where it
may be exposed to dripping orsplashing.
Inserting and Removing the Battery Pack
from the Radio/Charger (Fig.A)
NOTE: Make sure your battery pack

is fullycharged.
To Install the Battery Pack into the
Radio/Charger
1. Align the battery pack

with the rails inside the battery
receptacle

2. Slide it into the receptacle until the battery pack is firmly
seated in the tool and ensure that you hear the lock snap
intoplace.
To Remove the Battery Pack from the
Radio/Charger
1. Press the release button

and firmly pull the battery pack
out of the batteryreceptacle.
2. Insert battery pack into the radio/charger as described in the
charger section of thismanual.
Fuel Gauge Battery Packs (Fig.A)
Some
DeWALT
battery packs include a fuel gauge which consists
of three green LED lights that indicate the level of charge
remaining in the batterypack.
To actuate the fuel gauge, press and hold the fuel gauge
button

. A combination of the three green LED lights will
Your Bluetooth® radio/charger is equipped with memory
capacity in order to store the time and your selected memory
channels. When the radio is in the OFF position, this memory
capacity is powered by one coin cell battery that is included
with the radio/charger.
Power/Volume Adjustment
1. To turn the radio/charger on, long press the selection
dial

decrease the volume, turn anti-clockwise.
Mode Function
To choose one of the mode functions('DAB', 'FM', or 'AUX' or
Bluetooth®) push the home button

DAB Mode
Tuning
When the unit is first switched on the unit will start in
'DAB'/'DAB+' mode and will 'Auto Scan' to find broadcast
stations in the local area. Once 'Auto Scan' is complete, short
press the selection dial

to enter the DAB menu. Select
ST.LIST (Station List) using the touch keys

, then rotate the
selection dial

to select the desiredstation.
NOTE: When moving locations or if reception was poor in the
original scan(possible if the antenna was not up), this may result
in an empty or incomplete list of available stations. Manually
running a 'Full Scan' will find all available broadcaststations.
To Perform an Auto Scan:
1. Enter DAB mode and navigate to the menu by
short-pressing the selection dial

Intended Use
The
DeWALT
TSTAK™ CONNECT RADIO/CHARGER includes a
built-in FM and DAB radio, Bluetooth support and a 3.5mm AUX
connector port to play audio/music from an external appliance.
An intuitive application for remote controlling the system
via a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone or tablet is available to
download from both the Google and Apple app stores. The
system includes charging capabilities for
DeWALT
slide pack
batteries. The TSTAK™ CONNECT RADIO/CHARGER will charge
most
DeWALT
Li-ion batteries. Batteries soldseparately.
DO NOT use under wet conditions or in the presence of
flammable liquids orgases.
Do Not let children come into contact with the tool. Supervision
is required when inexperienced operators use thistool.
Young children and the infirm. This appliance is not
intended for use by young children or infirm persons
withoutsupervision.

will not illuminate and the battery will need to berecharged.
NOTE: The fuel gauge is only an indication of the charge left on
the battery pack. It does not indicate tool functionality and is
subject to variation based on product components, temperature
and end-userapplication.
