7.2 Airframe
The DG-500M is a twoseater high performance sailplane with retractable
powerplant and wing flaps.

Canopy
Two canopies hinged at the right fuselage side. Canopy glass made from
clear Plexiglas or Plexiglas GS green 2422 as option.
Tailplane
T-Tail with conventional stabilizer-elevator and spring trim.
