What to do if the DIAL PEC-A-3500-1M Air Cleaner fan does not operate or runs slow?
    • M
      michael49Aug 5, 2025
If your DIAL Air Cleaner fan isn't operating or runs slowly, begin by checking the GFCI plug on the power cord to ensure it's properly plugged into the electrical outlet. If it still doesn't work, try resetting the GFCI outlet or using a non-GFCI outlet. Also, make sure the 'FAN' dial is set to 'L, M or H' to turn on the evaporative cooler. Check for a faulty motor capacitor, which may need replacing (for select models).

Why is my DIAL Air Cleaner not blowing cold air?
    • D
      derek76Aug 11, 2025
If your DIAL Air Cleaner isn't producing cool air, first ensure the 'PUMP' dial is switched to 'ON' to activate the pump. Then, fill the reservoir with water, making sure it's at least half full, before activating the pump. Also, check the pump and pump hose for any clogs and clear any debris. If the problem persists, the pump may be defective and require replacement.

How to stop my DIAL PEC-A-3500-1M from leaking?
    • K
      Kathleen DunnAug 15, 2025
To address leakage in your DIAL Air Cleaner, inspect the Drain Plug and Cap to ensure the Drain Plug is fully plugged and the Cap is tightened completely. Also, inspect the Reservoir for cracks or damage. Check for Media Pad scale build-up and check for leaks from the Water Spreader/Distributor Rail and hose connections.

Why is the vertical louvre not working on my DIAL PEC-A-3500-1M?
    • C
      Christy BarkerAug 20, 2025
If the vertical louvre on your DIAL Air Cleaner isn't working, make sure the 'SWING' dial is set to 'ON.' If that doesn't solve the issue, check the oscillation motor for proper connection and any defects.

What to do if I have issues with the float valve in my DIAL PEC-A-3500-1M Air Cleaner?
    • L
      Lisa AveryAug 26, 2025
To resolve issues with the float valve in your DIAL Air Cleaner, adjust the valve if the water level is too low or too high. Inspect the float valve for cracks that could cause failure and water leakage, and replace the valve if cracked.

Why does my DIAL PEC-A-3500-1M Air Cleaner emit an odor?
    • P
      Patrick AlexanderAug 30, 2025
When you first use your DIAL Air Cleaner, the Rigid Media Pad may emit an odor, but this should dissipate within a week. If the odor persists, the Media Pad may have developed mold or bacterial growth, in which case you should replace the Media Pad.
