1 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
1.1 BRIEF DESCRIPTION
IZAR PULSE i is a pulse emitter available, as standard, in a 3-wires or 4-wires version, with a pulse weight of
1 litre (other versions are available). It is equipped with a battery with a lifetime of approximately up to 15 years.
IZAR PULSE i 3-wires version provides the following information:
• Metering pulse
• Cable cut-off detection/disconnection
• Detection of the ow direction by negative pulse compensation
IZAR PULSE i 4-wires version provides the following information:
• Metering pulse
• Cable cut-off detection/disconnection
• Detection of the ow direction for metering and reverse metering
1.2 COMPATIBILITY WITH DIEHL METERING METERS
IZAR PULSE i is compatible with all Diehl Metering’s modular range meters tted with a grey ring
(or red for hot water) and marked «Ha+Ti» or «Ti».

1.4 AVAILABLE VERSIONS
IZAR PULSE i is available in the following versions: «3-output», «4-output», «specic pulse weights» and «dry
contact» allowing different pulse weights for a single product.
The polarity and wire colours must be respected in order to use the correct pulse weight and to avoid
any malfunctioning.
