1. Introduction
The DIGITUS USB 3.0 Hub Industrial is ideal for consumer and
industrial applications due to its metal housing and the screwable USB
outputs. It can be installed on the wall or on a carrier rail and is
connected to a computer, notebook or server with the supplied USB
3.0 cable. It supports the Hi-Speed USB 3.0 data transfer rate of up to
5 Gbit/s and is downward compatible to USB 2.0 and USB 1.1.
The HUB can be powered via a two-wire terminal block connector
(+9V to 24V). Optionally, a power supply unit can be connected to the
DC jack.
2. Main Features
• Additional 4/ 7x USB A 3.0 ports with up to 5Gbps to
one USB A port
• The sturdy metal housing and the various mounts allow flexible
mounting on support rails or various surfaces.
• 15kV ESD protection: The USB hub is protected against
electrostatic discharge, making it particularly suitable for use in
industrial environments.
• Thanks to the Super-Speed USB 3.0 standard, fast data transfer
rates of up to 5 Gbps are possible - Due to the backwards
compatibility, USB 2.0 & USB 1.1 are also supported.
• The integrated DC jack connection enables the USB HUB to be
additionally supplied with power. (Not included within the
delivery)
• Compatible with many operating systems e.g., macOS, Windows
and Google Chrome OS
