Symptom Cause Solution
When the unit starts up or runs, the
display shows
EC
(communications
cable failure). The unit goes off
automatically, with the display
continuing to show
EC
until the
anomaly is put right. To remove
EC
from the display, press the On/Off
key once on the control panel or
remote control.
Poor connection in terminals or cables of
the communication cable.
Communication cable clamps poorly
connected or disconnected.
Check the terminal connections or possible cuts in communication cables (The
communication cable connects to the electronic control and to the compressor
module).
Connect the cable clamps (in the electronic control and in the compressor
module).

(If the error persists, contact the Authorised Technical Service).
The unit gives out a beeping sound.
Belt poorly connected in the keypad or
inverted.
Take down the control panel’s front panel and correctly connect the cable
between the control panel and the electronic control.
E9
will appear when the unit has a
slant of over 45º (tilting the cabin).
Unit slant 45º or over.
This will disappear when the unit is in a position of less than 45º. Slant is detected
by the electronic control.
Water is entering the cabin or is
ltering in from outside.
Run-off channel blocked.
EPDM seal poorly attached or defective.
The cable outputs in the evaporator cover
are not sealed properly.
Clear the wastewater channel obstruction (remove the outside cover of the unit for
access).
Replace the EPDM seal (take down the unit and thoroughly clean the surface
where the EPDM seal is to be attached).
Seal the cable output in the evaporator cover (remove the unit’s outside cover for
access).
