GENERAL GUIDELINES
- Before travelling or sleeping, check water level of tank, taking into account that approximate
consumption is 1.5 l/h.
- Every 2 months or according to needs, clean humidity filter (1), filter tank (2) and screen of air inlet (3).

- Humidity filter (1) will have to be changed at least every 2 years or before if environmental
circumstances require it.

- In winter it is convenient to remove water from circuit to avoid damages due to possible frost. In winter
and in case of pressure cleaning with a hose, cover air inlet with parts (A), delivered by the installer to the
user. Do not forget to disassemble these parts when equipment is switched back on. (On last page)
- If it is necessary to fold cabin down, after switching equipment off, wait between 3 to 4 min. to allow
water to fully return to main tank.
WATER TREATMENT
The following norms must be observed:
- BYCOOL evaporation system contains a product (5) (See photo on last page) for water treatment (dirna
WT-20), elaborated in accordance with current norms, which maintains water in ideal conditions for 6
months and reduces incrustation formation produced by impurities and corrosion, while it avoids
proliferation of fungi, bacterium, etc. that could be harmful to health.
The product is situated in drain lid of tank, so that it is always in contact with water present in lower part
of the circuit. In order to change it on the Evolution model, lower lid has to be unscrewed and replaced
by another one (ref. 091.024.0005). On the Camper model, the product (ref. 091.024.0006) is introduced
through upper mouth and screwed in lower cap right side.

number indicated on last page of handbook.
- ATTENTION!
TANK SHOULD ALWAYS BE FILLED WITH DRINKING WATER. Do not add to water odorant products
or any other not authorised by equipment manufacturer.
- At least every 6 months, a full cleaning of all the water circuit will have to be done, following the
instructions below:
a- Empty all the water circuit, removing lower tank cap that contains maintenance product, dirna WT-20
b- Refill it, up to approximately half tank capacity, using a solution of drinking water and bleaching soda
(20% of house bleach). Switch equipment on, at minimum air speed and maximum operation time of
water pump and leave it running for approximately 2 hours.
c- Completely empty circuit and rinse main tank thoroughly using pressured water to eliminate residues
left by previous operation
d- If air conditioner is going to be used, refill circuit using drinking water and add a new dose of
maintenance product, WT-20
How to activate DOORS ALARM for the 1st time or if battery is disconnected:
* Maintain button pushed until red light flashes
* Open door where pulsator is connected
* Check that red light has stopped flashing. If so, IT HAS BEEN ACTIVATED.
Every time user wants to put alarm on, he will have to push button while doors are closed, the red light
remaining switched on. When opening one of the doors, it will repeatedly whistle and will only be
deactivated by pushing button again.
ALARM CLOCK: when button is pushed once, red light is switched on. If pushed twice, a whistle will
blow (1/2 hour); if pushed thrice, two whistles will blow (1 hour); if pushed four times, three whistles will
blow (1h ½) and if pushed five times, four whistles will blow (2 hours). If user carries on pushing button, it
will go back to beginning.
- IMPORTANT NOTE.- Observance of previously mentioned norms is the user’s sole responsibility,
in particular those related to water use and treatment to ensure both the equipment operation and
hygiene and health conditions.
In case they should not be respected, dirna s.a is exempted from any responsibility.
- In the MICROFILTER version, active carbon filters (4) will have to be changed every year but can be
cleaned according to needs with low pressure air.

observar se liga e desliga o equipamento.
Se isso acontecer o controlo terá sido efectivado.
