When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed,
including the following:

• Shock Hazard. Do not put the vacuum in water or other liquid.
• Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments.
• Do not recharge with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped,
damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center or dispose of it according to your
local waste and disposal guidelines.
• Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair,
and anything that may reduce air flow.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
• Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline,
or use in areas where they may be present.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
• Do not pick up toxic material (i.e. chlorine bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner, etc.)
• Do not vacuum toner (for laser printer, copy machines etc.) as there is a risk of fire and explosion.
• Do not vacuum plaster, cement etc. as the filter can become blocked.
• Do not use the vacuum without all the filters fitted.
• Do not operate outdoors. This appliance is intended for house hold use only
and not for commercial or industrial use.
• Do not operate on wet floor or moist conditions (i.e. bathroom). Water and moisture
could damage the circuit board.
• Do not handle recharging adapter plug with wet hands.
• Use extra caution when cleaning on stairs.
• Plug the recharging adapter plug directly into an electrical outlet.
• Use the recharging adapter plug only in a standard electrical outlet (120V/60Hz).
• Unplug the recharging adapter plug from outlet before any routine cleaning or maintenance.
• Do not look into the air vents when the unit is switched on, as sometimes small debris can be discharged,
especially after cleaning or replacing the filter.
• Do not leave appliance unattended when plugged in for recharging.
• Do not allow appliance to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
