How to fix belt squeal on Dirty Hand Tools Tiller?

  To address belt squealing in the neutral position on your Dirty Hand Tools Tiller, turn off the engine and allow the muffler to cool. Disconnect and secure the spark plug wire. Remove the belt guard. Pull down on the drive safety control lever and manually bend the forward belt guide so there is 1/16” or less clearance between the belt guide and the belt. Replace the belt guard and spark plug wire.

  If your Dirty Hand Tools Tiller engine misses or lacks power, try the following: raise the tines for shallow tilling by lowering the depth regulator lever, remove and clean the fuel tank, clean or replace the air cleaner, replace the spark plug and adjust the gap, and drain and refill the gas tank and carburetor. If the issue is improper carburetor adjustment, take it to an authorized engine service center.
